Controlling mosquitos in Celebration

Lecturer: Cherrief Jackson is a Public Health Mosquito Control Consultant with Clarke Environmental Mosquito Control.
Cherrief has an MBA from North Carolina Agriculture and Technical State University. She volunteers a lot and is on the board of 8 Cents in a Jar.  Founded in 2016, 8 Cents in a Jar, Inc. is an award-winning 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization serving the Central Florida community that creates opportunities for students in marginalized communities to achieve intergenerational mobility through financial education.
Cheriffe will talk about those pesky little insects that can make camping, picnicking and other outside functions a real pain.  She will discuss types of mosquitos, what we can do to keep mosquito numbers down and what they do to keep numbers down.  Cheriffe is also going to talk about certain plants that can be grown that help stave off the bloodthirsty little $#&%&ards.
