February’s field trip on the 24th will see us visiting Leu Gardens for a group Camellia tour, led by Robert Bowden himself, starting at 9:30. The Azaleas should be pretty good at that time also.  We will carpool from Heritage Hall, leaving at 8:15.  The tour is an hour long and then we can visit the rest of the gardens as we wish.  The gardens had some frost damage but are recovering nicely, the representative said.  The main house is still…

The March field trip will be in Mt. Dora on Saturday the 24th.  This is a reschedule of their normal fall tour that was cancelled due to Hurricane Irma.  The garden club tour is a self led tour of five gardens and three open houses this year.
