Tom Maccubbin gave an informative and entertaining on a variety of topics. He created a container arrangement that would withstand cool temperatures with snapdragons, pansies, alyssum and petunias. He suggested geraniums and pinks could be used when the temperatures start to rise. He talked about the make up of soil and how to improve soil by the addition of compost, black cow fertiliser. In between information, he asked questions and gave prizes of notelets hand painted by Joanie . He discussed the trees in Celebration and also how to deal with the imminent freeze.
